How long have you been working here? I joined Southpoint in 2013.

Tell us a little bit about you: I’ve been selling Ford and Lincoln vehicles since 2000, I got my start at Renaud in Harrow, then moved onto Performance Ford in Windsor. I was born in Leira, Portugal and I’ve lived in Harrow since 1961. I have 2 sons, both in university and I’m married to my wife Fern. I’ve been an avid soccer fan and coach for many years.

Why I enjoy working here: That’s easy for me to answer. I enjoy working in the county, where business is done in a much more relaxed atmosphere. The workplace is great and welcoming for salespeople and my clients. Management is approachable, accessible and willing to help whenever they’re needed. People from the city will find purchasing a vehicle out here is much more refreshing and simple, which corresponds to our way of life in the county.

What I like most about my job: The people. I have great clientele that are a pleasure to sell to, and a pleasure to have as friends.

Why should you choose me as your salesperson: I’m honest, sincere, and have a vast knowledge of the product. I won’t sell you a vehicle if it isn’t the perfect fit for you.

Whats your favorite Ford and why? The Lincoln MKZ because I enjoy the drive control system and the ability to control the entire drive-ability of your ride.

The community of Leamington and/or surrounding area is great because: The people are great, a true joy to sell to. They’re very easy going and understanding. Ryan came to us from the tool and mould industry. He is currently working on his History degree at the University of Windsor in his off time. He resides in Essex and is excited to be starting a new career in the Automotive industry.

Hi, my name is Nick and I have been involved in the Automotive industry for 25 years. Starting in Canadian Tire in the parts department where I learned I love customer service. Once excelling in parts, I moved into the service department. After doing this for years, I progressed into the performance/aftermarket industry and finally tied it all together. I started working at Southpoint in 2012. I’m married to my lovely wife Helen, we live in Leamington with our kids. I love playing hockey, and played for the Flyers and in college. I also enjoy boating with my family. I enjoy the family like atmosphere here at Southpoint and have an awesome team here. My job is ever changing. Every deal is different and unique. I have been selling cars and trucks for over 30 years and still love it as much as the day I started as an 18 year old in 1984 at the old Moe Campbell Ford in Windsor, and moved onto Rose City Ford in the late 90’s. The opportunity came to me to manage here, and I’ve worked for Southpoint since January 2013. I am married to my loving wife Robin and have three beautiful kids Eric, Matthew and Miranda. I am in the Thursday night golf league at Erie Shores and am enjoying that for meeting new people from around the area. I was looking for another challenge and Vince’s reputation for great customer service was a perfect fit. Working in Leamington in a new building couldn’t be better. You’ve got to challenge yourself everyday, and being General Sales manager for sure presents new challenges everyday, which I can always deal with. I'm still able to be involved with the customers and working with the sales representatives to come to a great deal, for both parties. I love the challenge, and I love teaching and motivating my employees. Why you should choose me as your Sales Manager: I treat my staff and my customers how I would want to be treated as a customer and an employee. Plus I have been around quite awhile and have learned how easy this business is if you don’t complicate things. I want to prove to you, the customer that I’m the best around.
